IS ORSEN SHIELD A ONE SIZE FIT-ALL SKID PLATE?

No, Orsen Shield skid plate will need to be developed and customized for each vehicle model type and year.

WHAT MATERIAL IS ORSEN SHIELD MADE OF?

The primary material used to develop Orsen Shield is a specially formulated polymer which was developed over years of research in our own laboratories. The material is many times lighter than steel, thus fuel efficient and would not increase the cost of operating the vehicle and yet provides even better protection.

WILL ORSEN SHIELD CAUSE OVERHEATING TO MY VEHICLE IF I AM CAUGHT UP IN THE TRAFFIC?

No, as heat generated by the car’s engine will be dissipated upwards. As the hot air rises, cooler air will be drawn in by the fan. Yet, Orsen Shield will enhance the circulation and ventilation of air as these same as the principal of toilet room and exhaust fan. Exhaust will function stronger if the toilet’s door closed well. Orsen Shield is extremely durable. There is no need for a replacement unless it is damaged due to traumatic impact or excessive scraping on raised road surfaces – the very reason why the Shield is installed, to protect the car’s undercarriage and its occupants.

IS INSTALLATION DIFFICULT?

Installation for Orsen Shield was just an easy plug-n-play process and relatively simple which only takes minimum of 30 minutes to complete. Every purchase of skid plate will come with an installation guide and can be done DIY, although it is recommended that the installation be done by our authorized installation points or workshop you preferred. The only tools required are two 9/16 wrenched and a 13/16 socket and ratchet.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE TO INSTALL THE BUFFER AT THE FRONT SIDE AND INSTALL AT REAR SIDE?

Buffers for the front were to enhance the breaking system, shortens the breaking distance and to stabilize your car while cornering. Buffers for the rear side were to reduce the bumpy effect to increase the comfort level of your car. For both side, Spring Buffer lowering the vibration of the suspension systems, thus eliminate potential safety hazard and noise.
